Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

My wife and I were really hungry when we decided to eat at Ma's. You know that old saying "Hunger is the Best Souce". Even so the food was just so-so. The service was good but the food not so good. I should have known with only one review it was a gamble. I hope this review adds a little balance.

This restaurant and the Golden Wok ( yelp.com/biz/golden-wok-… ) in Medford are owned by the same folks. Their menus are fairly similar as well, except that Ma's doesn't have any Vietnamese food. They do have a small assortment of Thai dishes. The American menu is also small. The menu isn't challenging - it's mostly the standard Chinese dishes. But the food is well-prepared; it smells good, not rancid like some places; and it tastes good. It's quite an acceptable place for a meal!

Their food is pretty average for any Chinese here in the valley. Its 2-3 star worthy. But I gave them 4 stars because the food is always out before we are even done with the soup. I've never had to wait more than five minutes after ordering. The staff is always pleasant, my husband and I come here all the time.

I've been into Ma's restaurant several times, the food is good but the wait staff has been rude. I hoped that they were just having bad days so I went back several times after the first incident and nothing had changed. I complain to the owner which went no where.

Chinese food can be hit or miss, but this was a definite miss. I am one of those people that feels guilty when food is not eaten and I could barely force 1/3 of my plate down. The waitress was sweet and taking care of the whole place by herself (poor thing) but man, the food was pretty terrible. The search for decent chinese food in the valley continues!

No chicken in my kung pao chicken!!! We were the only people in there and the waitress calls her friend and is gossiping, she waits until her conversation is over before even asking what we want to drink. There was four of us and throws down one menu,LOL I guess sharing is caring. Two of the orders were completely wrong and when I told her she just said that the ones she gave us were good too and then giggled. We started cracking up because I found two pieces of chicken in my kung pao....2!!!! We went in once before and it wasn't a great experience, I guess its my own fault I gave it another go....man I was soooo hungry too, just a Bummers! Never again ...boo

The restaurant was unclean feeling and did not have a good smell. We shouldn't have even sat down to eat. The food was not good.

Worst food I have ever eaten. Flavorless, poor quality.

Everytime I have visited ma's the service has been, should I say, excellent, the food is also good and it always comes out fast and hot

good service... I was not pleased with their food.

The service was awful, the chicken dishes are nothing more than overcooked chunks of fried chicken covered in different flavored syrups (Szechuan, orange etc). We are currently sitting here with empty drinks and have not seen the server in 22 minutes. Ma's kitchen is absolutely horrible.

Pretty good tasting and the atmosphere is not the best but we always get it to go. It is pretty average priced for the Valley. Very good mar far and Szechuan.

Brought a party of 8 in (including 3 children), no reservation, for lunch. I think my standards are pretty high, having spent the first 45 years of my life in San Francisco an enjoying a multitude of regional Chinese fare. Ma's food and service was just fine! I look forward to my next visit!
